A Day at Bozcaada Castle

In the morning, we built a castle using Bozcaada’s clay. Now, within that very castle, we moved, inspired by the island’s winds. Observing the swaying of reeds in the wind, we explored the movements of our bodies together with the children.

For the second workshop in our Re*Mind Art Research series, we welcomed Gülseren Cizdan. In the enchanting atmosphere of Bozcaada Castle, we conducted the Creative Movement Workshop with 6th and 7th-grade students from İstiklal Primary School.

Starting at 2:30 PM, the workshop allowed children to use their imagination and discover body and movement awareness. Inspired by the imagery of reeds dancing in the wind, we each moved freely within the castle walls. This experience became both a creative exploration and an unforgettable shared moment.
