As part of Zero Gathering Discussion Sessions, Re*Mind Art Research Conversations were also included, bringing together artists conducting their creative and research-based artistic productions under the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Nalan Sülün.

The Re*Mind Artist Talks Sessions focused on the dialogue between both host and guest artists and Bozcaada. These discussions explored how artists engaged with the island throughout their creative processes.

During the Host Artists Session, artists reflected on their personal histories, discussing their cultural connections to Bozcaada, and making their experiences visible from different perspectives. The Guest Artists Session, on the other hand, explored their relationship with the island and their shared experiences with host artists, offering insights into how they perceived and interpreted Bozcaada.

Both sessions allowed artists to share their island experiences and creative processes, emphasizing Bozcaada’s cultural fabric and its interaction with the local ecosystem. These talks provided attendees with an opportunity to reinterpret Bozcaada through the lens of artists and to consider art within a local context.

Additionally, Itırlı Bahçe, an important cultural heritage site in Bozcaada, hosted its first event with a conversation session featuring local artists. This gathering served as a valuable initiative for preserving local memory and strengthening the island’s relationship with art.
