Zero 1.0 is a research domain dedicated to investigating Bozcaada’s digitalization and technological transformation processes. It conducts studies on digital twin projects, data-driven management systems, and robotic technologies. Additionally, it supports the development of future creative individuals through robotics coding and technology workshops designed for children. Zero 1.0 represents an innovative approach that transforms technology into a tool for social benefit.
Objective: To accelerate the digitalization process of Bozcaada in alignment with the smart island concept, establish sustainable management systems through technology-based solutions, and enhance social well-being.
Scope: Digital twin projects, data-driven management systems, AI-supported analytics, and robotics coding workshops. It aims to improve the island’s technological infrastructure, increase local community access to technology, and equip children with creative and innovative skills through workshops.
Observation: Identifying key parameters of the island’s digitalization process; analyzing technology accessibility and data utilization.
Experimentation: Developing prototypes for robotics coding, digital production, and AI projects; organizing interactive technology workshops for children to test these processes.
Modeling: Utilizing collected data and experiences to develop sustainable governance models, technology-based educational frameworks, and strategies that provide social benefit.
