At this gathering, where we came together with the residents of Bozcaada to discuss the island’s future, we aimed to bring to life the ideas we have been working on for a long time. Starting from the island’s zero point, our goal was not only to initiate transformation but also to establish a collective and productive vision for the future. The Zero Gathering Evaluation Meeting, held on September 23rd at Salhane, provided an opportunity to reflect on the impact of Zero Gathering events and to discuss future plans.

During the meeting, discussions centered on the relationship between the events and Bozcaada, their effects on the island’s residents, and how they marked the beginning of a transformative process. There was an exchange of ideas regarding the projects planned for 2025 and the emotional impact of the artistic works created during Zero Gathering on the participants.

The implementation processes of the discussion sessions, the influence of the workshops on children, and the significance of these activities for future generations were also evaluated. Additionally, the role of remembering the past and its impact on the island’s community were key discussion points.

The Mayor and City Council Members shared positive feedback about the Zero Gathering events, emphasizing their potential to contribute to the island’s future. With the participation of Bozcaada residents, this meeting served as a platform to shape a collective vision for the future of the island.

The Evaluation Meeting was successfully concluded as a crucial step in guiding Zero Movement’s future projects.
