The Sky Table, the closing event of Zero Gathering, was held at Ayana Bay under the full moon. The event took place in an area surrounded by flags, an example of land art, which is also referred to as the “Art of Wind.”

The flags were designed using symbols from the Bozcaada Symbol Alphabet, created by the Bozcaada Archive Experiment. Arranged in a circular pattern, these flags provided participants with an interactive experience among the symbols. Guests received a leaflet explaining the meanings of the symbols, allowing them to explore and interpret them in their own way.

Another key focus of the event was the revival of Bozcaada’s forgotten gastronomy. Participants brought dishes prepared with traditional island recipes and shared them with others. Throughout the evening, they exchanged stories and recipes related to these meals. This collective sharing experience strengthened the cultural memory of Bozcaada’s culinary heritage.

Taking advantage of the full moon, a telescope was set up, allowing participants to take turns observing the Moon. This unique experience left an unforgettable impression on those eager to explore the depths of the sky.

The Sky Table offered a unique opportunity to experience Bozcaada’s cultural, gastronomic, and natural heritage all at once. As a result, it became a meaningful and symbolic closing event for Zero Gathering.
